Our client is a leading supplier of quality tie-downs to the NZ and International Markets. We are in need of a competent and reliable Loom operator/ Machinist for their afternoon/evening shift in their factory in Bromley, Christchurch.
Role Description
Our client is a leading supplier of quality tie-downs to the NZ and International Markets. We are in need of a competent and reliable Loom operator/ Machinist for their afternoon/evening shift in their factory in Bromley, Christchurch. This is a crucial role operating and maintaining a Narrow Fabric Loom.
Main areas of responsibility:
- Maintaining & Operating looms.
- Upkeep of Loom area.
- Loading and unloading the loom creels.
Personal Attributes:
- Reliable and dependable.
- Enthusiastic and High Energy with a “Can-do” attitude.
- Due to the nature of some of the duties, the applicant must be physically fit, be in good health and able to lift up to 25kg.
Requirements
Skills and Experience:
- Good attention to detail.
- Mechanically minded.
- Forklift Certificate with F endorsement. (Beneficial not essential).
- Ability to work independently.
- Training provided.
