He has a fabric technology background and has now moved onto supply chain management and capacity planning which is his current role for a UK Menswear company. In this role he is responsible for looking after the full supply chain, implementing and maintaining planning and critical path software, coordinating business groups, demand forecasts and consolidating 6 and 12 monthly buying portfolios, guiding the sourcing director and negotiating capacity requirement for their supply base, also establishing work in progress reports from their supply chain throughout Europe and the Far East. Previous to this role he has worked as a Fabric Technologist for a work wear company where he was originally responsible for the managing of a testing laboratory before moving onto quality management and buying where he sourced garments and established a buying office in Bangladesh. He then worked as a sourcing and fabric technologist for corporate wear where he was responsible for all fabric and garment sourcing throughout Europe and the Far East.
Seeking a senior role where he can use his many skills and experience to contribute to a growing business. With excellent fabric skills, he is logical, good with systems, solving problems and getting the best out of the supply chain.
Kiwi returning to NZ in January after living overseas. He has strong production/planning/sourcing experience with a very good supply chain background, has travelled extensively throughout the Far East negotiating capacity, price and critical path. With 7 years' experience in Supply Chain Management working with two of the leading Workwear and Corporate Wear companies in Europe. He has worked with many leading customers and has extensive knowledge of Chinese, Korean, Taiwanese, Bangladesh and Pakistan suppliers.
