Industry Experience:

Merchandise Assistant currently working for a manufacturer and importer of womenswear and menswear in her role she is working on a major retail account, setting up costings and negotiating prices with factories, sketching garments, creating full specs, building and maintaining relationships with a range of overseas suppliers, managing all aspects of the critical path and successfully delivering product on time. Previous to this she worked for another leading manufacturer as Production Controller working with various accounts and managing all production related communications with customer, raising purchase orders, costing enquiries, defining and solving problems. She has also had experience working in the UK as a Product Developer, Production and Shipping Coordinator and Production Coordinator.

Aspirations:

She is a resourceful and committed team player and would like a role where she can develop and grow in a varied role. She is quick to learn and is interested in exploring the garment tech side of the business in which she plans to study more of in her own time.
