A unique opportunity to join the Research and Development Team for this well-known established company. This is a senior position where you will use your excellent technical knowledge & design experience to develop uniforms, and protection items for customers as well as managing the multiple projects to introduce these items into service. The role requires a high level of communication whilst you liaise with supply partners, customers and internally. You will ensure tight deadlines are maintained and financial budgets are met for projects.

The successful candidate will need:

• Proven innovative and product improvement skills/or project management along with original design experience
• Ability to creat spec packs
  
• The ability to present product and design concepts to customers
  
• The ability to work autonomously and service a broad base of customers
  
• Experience working under pressure of deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy and paying close attention to details
  
• Outstanding communication and influencing skills to deal effectively with a broad range of internal and external customers
  
• High level of problem solving, research and information gathering skills
  
• Advanced level of computing skills includin, Excel, Illustrator and/or Photoshop
• The drive and the mental strength to ‘think outside the box'
