This is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the beauty of living in Nelson and also work in a varied and exciting fashion apparel role.

The role requires an intermediate to senior candidate who is experienced in patternmaking and production for the apparel industry. On a daily basis you will be involved in patternmaking from samples and sketches, producing spec sheets, sample cutting and yields, source fabrics and trims, sketch garments and compile story boards. Of equal importance will be your knowledge of production. You will be required to liaise with manufacturers and buyers, check pre-production samples, assist production and shipping manager and communicate all information in a timely and efficient manner.

It is a small company so you will be required to work cohesively with the designers and other patternmakers as well as help out in other areas such as sample machining when required.
