A challenging and rewarding opportunity has just come up to join a well recognized and successful fashion company that provides a supportive and vibrant team environment. We are seeking an exceptional Merchandise Manager with a minimum 7 years in the fashion apparel industry, with a few of those years being specific Merchandise Manager experience, working in a supply house and directly with the buyer from a major retailer.

Some of your key activities will include; maintaining and developing customer relationships, growing sales accounts, ensuring clients are well-informed on range and garment details, range development and sourcing product overseas. You are a natural negotiator with outstanding communication skills. You will have your finger on the ‘pulse' of the fashion market and can move quickly to identify new trends.

With a strong grounding in apparel you are a strategic thinker with a good understanding of the fashion manufacturing path and use this to build a great rapport with clients and colleagues. You are familiar and competent in the off-shore production processes and your garment construction knowledge is excellent.
