Merchandise Manager

Our client is seeking an outstanding Merchandise Manager to join their successful apparel company in this challenging and rewarding role where you would be responsible for the planning and development of customer orders, ensuring pre-planned sales targets are met. Some of your other responsibilities would include;

• Brand development
• Developing ranges that are inline with customer trends
• New Business Development, planning and identifying new customers
• Traveling overseas when required to buy samples for range development
• Preparation of quotes for customers, preparing specs and factory target prices
• Approving quality and suitability of fabric and accessories
• Being aware and understanding the customers' competitors, trends and business directions.

Applicants should have;

• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
• Offshore production experience
• Good technical and garment construction knowledge
• Solid account management experience
• Strong computer skills
• Knitwear experience would be advantageous but not essential.
